This Run is organised by the Z Car Club of Q Inc. Times & distances are approximate only.

All persons attending this Run must adhere to all Queensland Transport Road Rules and Regulations, or the applicable Australian State or Territory
laws you may be travelling in, to or from this event.

All Vehicles must be Registered and be in Roadworthy Condition and Drivers hold a Valid Current Driver’s License. All owners of concessional registered cars attending this run must be a member of an incorporated car club or association or meet the relevant conditions of the State or territory the car is registered in.

The Z Car Club Q Inc. its office bearers and the organiser/s accept/s no responsibility or liability for Damage, Injury or Death to any person/passenger, vehicle, property or thing, which may be caused by any person/passenger, vehicle, property or thing whilst participating on, or travelling to, or from this run Z Car Club of Q Inc. reserves the right to cancel or alter the date, costing or itinerary of this event at any time free from all recriminations.

About this event

The ZCar Club Q Inc. are hosting the 3 Damz ExZellent AdventureZ navigation run.

Event Location: Various locations TO, FROM, & AROUND the “Scenic Dams of Brisbane” located in South East Queensland… BUT WHICH THREE!!

Host Club: ZCar Club Q Inc – Motorsport Australia AFFILIATION #1080380

Event Distance: Approx. 280 km – Total Running Time APPROX 3 TO 4 hours INCLUDES Optional Coffee / Lunch STOPS.

Event Date: Sunday 27th April

Event START Point: Pine Rivers Car Park, Strathpine, Brisbane – Qld.

Event FINISH Point: Samford within 4 hours with the 1st Crew expected to finish by 12:30pm
NOTE an Overall Time of 5 hours has been allowed for the event and crews are advised to go straight to the finish point if they expect to go over the 1:30pm deadline.

EVENT REGISTRATION & Sign ON: @ the Start Point from 7:30am

CREW BRIEFING: @ the Start point 8:00am – FIRST CREW DEPARTS @ 8:30am

TOTAL Entry Fee for CAR & CREW $25: This includes Driver & Navigator – Additional Passengers are allowed FREE!

Licence required: Registered Road Legal Vehicles - Drivers Current Drivers Licence & Navigators - No Licence Required

NOTE: ICC 2025 Calendar of Events includes a Junior plus an All Women’s Entrants Category:

What are the minimum age requirements for Junior Category?

Refer ICC Guidelines: To be eligible, competitors must be 17 years old or under at 11.59am on 31st December the year prior to the competition year.

NOTE: Please confirm YES / NO if you are entering the JUNIOR Category when asked on the ENTRY FORM OPTION you are using.

Entry to the event via the Motorsport Australia Event Entry Portal or ON PAPER FORMS with ENTRIES OPEN on or before MONDAY 31st March and ENTRIES WILL CLOSE ON THURSDAY 24TH APRIL.

To quote Ben Pinkstone from MR2…the annual ICC Navigation Run is like a “treasure hunt on wheels”.

ZCar Club Q’s “3 Damz ExZellent AdventureZ” will be no different:

You need to spot the answers to the questions following the route as described within the Route Guide Pack that you will receive “on the day”.

This will include:

Measured Kilometre instructions that will take you to the 3 Dams to be visited.
Include Points of Interest questions that need to be answered – each correct answer is worth 1 point.
Additional Tasks will be part of the challenge involving a crew photo at a number of locations worth additional 5 Bonus Points to your total.
Optional stops are allowed for Food & Coffee & or for Lunch - but you will need to keep track to finish on time in Samford @1:30pm.
POINTS will be calculated the Q&A Route Guide handed back at the FINISH Point.
NOTE: this is NOT a TIMED Event.

NOTE: While an overall running time has been estimated @ 3 to 4 hours to arrive at the finish in SAMFORD, by 1:30 - you are allowed and additional 1 hour to arrive at the finish in SAMFORD 2.30pm, if you become lost or confused by the Directions Or Questions & Answers with no recorded time penalty.

NOTE: YOUR ARRIVAL TIME IS TO BE NOTED AT THE FINISH POINT TO ENSURE THE EVENT ORGANISES HAVE RECORDED THAT YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE NAVIGATION RUN “SAFELY”.

NOTE: No points are awarded for the actual time taken.

EVENT POINTS will be based on each crew’s answers to the questions ONLY, nothing about their car, driving skills, speed or time. 1 point per each correct answer for each Navigation Question plus a number of BONUS “5 point challenges” throughout the event will be awarded if completed.
